'METEORITE' OUT NOW ON ALL PLATFORMS

This song started off as only a simple verse sequence with nothing to follow at first. But, we thought what was there was solid enough to commit to finishing. We knew how we wanted the arrangement but it wasn't until the night before tracking vocals that I paced the balcony of our Airbnb and finally came up with the chorus lyrics and melody, cocktail in hand. I remember being totally uncertain as to whether what I came up with was cool or garbage. Steve and I sang it a few times together and what came out was this sort of 'one voice' thing that we often try to excersize together and we really liked it.

In pre-production, sitting in a room 12-14 hours for days on end with just us and Matt Wallace, our producer, we eventually got to this song and stumbled through it sort of off the cuff / jam style. The groove felt good, but it was far from complete in a full band setting. As such, of the collection, this was originally Bryan's least favorite of the bunch. At one point he affectionately referred to it as "Hell No" rather than it's working title at the time, "Hello". On the other hand, this was Matt's favorite one once he heard us play it together for the first time. I remember Matt telling a beleagured Bryan that he would be willing to bet that by the time we got through with it, this would be his favorite song of the EP...

I don't know if it is, you can ask Bryan if you ever run into him, but I do know he loves it.

We hope you love it as much as we do!
